Plate 2 includes Cendrars's poem Le Volturno, dated 6 June 1912, as well as reproductions of Cendrars's sketches and manuscript of the poem taken from the author's 1912 notebook he titled Le Retour.
Lithographs printed on vélin d'Arches; all other leaves printed on Rivoli.
