The original Rembrandt plate was acquired in a worn state by Capt William Baillie in 1775 and extensively reworked by him; the plate was later cut up and impressions were printed separately from the pieces which had been further reworked individually by Baillie.
Forms part of a collection of 20 prints by Captain William Baillie, with a title page hand lettered in ink: Collection of prints and etchings by William Baillie & others.

Summary
The Hundred Guilder print, right section; figures under an arch, a man lying in a wheelbarrel in the foreground, man leaning on a stick, supported by woman behind him on the left, a donkey standing in the right, a man sitting on the floor in front of him, six more figures in the centre, a camel behind them with a man leaning over its back; posthumous fourth state, after cutting of the plate into four seperate pieces by William Baillie.
