Summary
Apollo with his lyre among the Muses on Parnassus. One of the Muses stands on the beach and receives a book from the mouth of a dolphin. In the background at left is the winged horse Pegasus. Fame flies overhead with her trumpet which is hung with a banner reading "Delphini sacra".
