Poster advertising events on the first, second, and third days of the 1830 Royal Shakespeare Gala in Stratford-upon-Avon, including a dinner at the Royal Shakspearian (sic) Club, discharge of artillery, a masquerade featuring Chevalier Southby, the American tightrope walker Mr. Blackmore, fireworks, magic lantern show, and concluding with a 60-foot-tall "choragic monument" of Shakespeare and "transparent portrait of the immortal Bard."
