Twenty-five pairs of facing plates numbered 1, 1a, etc. Several plates, including 23a, 25, and 25a appear to be reproductions of original graphic works by Fritz Skell; the remaining plates evidence varying degrees of the artist's alteration of photographs.
Hasselwander credits Skell with 7 of the nude photographs in his foreword.
Year of production suggested by the author's gift inscription in library's copy: 20 December 1925.
