Summary
Series of drawings recording the carnival festivities of Paris, including humorous vignettes, studies of the costumed revellers and illustrations of the processions which were the high point of the celebrations: "Quat'z arts", the "Vache enragée", the Cavalcade des étudiants", and the "Boeuf gras."

Vellum by E. Carayon, decorated with colored pen-and-ink designs by Morin on the upper and lower boards and spine of the volume; in red marbled slipcase with red morocco and marbled paper chemise.
