From the first series of Sturm-Künstlerpostkarten, related to an exhibition held at Der Sturm gallery in Berlin, 12 April-31 May 1912, titled Die Futuristen: Umberto Boccioni, Carlo D. Carra, Luigi Russolo, Gino Severini.
The library's postcard is inscribed with a letter in Cyrillic cursive by an unidentified figure addressed to Iu. E. ("Lady Julia") Druzhilovskaia, Russland, Vilna, 12 Tatarskaia street, recounting their negative impressions of Italian people and cities and praising Munich. Postmarked Munich, 26 June 1913, and Vilna, 15 (i.e. 28) June 1913. The stamp has been removed. A partial translation of this item is available in departmental files.
