Inscriptions/Markings
Inscribed under the title by Mary Ruth Parker-Brooke (1848-1931): "by Rupert Brooke at 16 ys 6 ms; awarded an extra prize as being so nearly equal to the prize winner." Inscription by Edward Marsh on note tipped into binder's endleaf: "The Pyramid was given me by Mrs. Brooke, who has written on the title-page. [signed] E Marsh.

Self-wrappers, as issued; bound in collector's full blue morocco with gilt-stamped turn-ins, spine lettered in gold; housed in modern 1/4 red leather case with red cloth sides, title and date stamped in gold on spine.
