Cf. Populus.

Forms part of a collection of 586 etchings by and after Claude Gillot, mounted into a bound album by a former owner, with letterpress title page reading "Oeuvres de Gillot." (see PML 198162).

Summary
Print shows the figure of Harlequin, standing full-length to the left, in a landscape, with his slapstick at his side, doffing his hat and bowing slightly in an exaggerated show of deference.
