Notes
Last leaf blank.
Dedicated to Cardinal de Bouillon and thought to have been recalled by the author because of a mistaken honorific at the end of the dedicatory epistle, "Altesse sérénissime" instead of "Altesse éminentissime."
In this copy the mistake has been corrected in pen, possibly by La Fontaine himself.
