Presentation inscription in ink on page [3]: "Hail to your lordship! I am glad to see you so well" - 'Hamlet'. From Grace Cecilia Kepler. Bookseller's ticket mounted on rear paste-down: Howard's Library, 52 Upton Lane, Forest Gate.
Binding
Limp brown leather, stamped on the front cover and spine in gilt and blind, decorated in red and greenish blue, after a design by Jessie M. King of a girl playing the lyre; top edge gilt (the "De-luxe" binding, according to White, lacking the publisher's box).
