The Bible cabinet is housed in white cardboard box inside a wooden box with sliding top, with printed label and orange printed card explaining the meaning of each article in the Bible. The Bible cabinet contains 17 articles mentioned in the Bible, put in glass vials with nickel-plated screwcaps.
Printed on card: Balm of Gilead, Cassia, Eye-Salve, Frankincense, Henna, Husks, Hyssop, Lentiles [sic], Manna, Mess of Pottage, Mustard Seed, Myrrh, Saffron, Sackcloth, Spikenard, Tares, and Wormwood.
According to contemporary advertisements, the collection contains 36 articles, of which 17 were sent for $1.50, or the entire 36 articles for $2.75. The cabinets were used to assist children with their Bible studies. A circular with the description of the articles was sent free.
