The stamp reproduces a portrait of Joyce by Brancusi.
"The Irish Post Office will issue four new postage stamps on Wednesday, 16th June, 1982, to honour Irish literary and musical figures. ...The stamps are printed by the lithographic process, with layout and graphics by Peter Wildbur. ...
