Title and suggested date from Everyday life in Holland's golden age (catalogue of the complete etchings of Adriaen van Ostade by S.W. Pelletier & L.J. Slatke).
Signed within the plate at bottom right, "A.V. Ostade fecit. et excud."
A later state, after the addition of "et excud." to the artist's signature.
