Inscribed by Jarry on the half-title page for Ubu roi: A Madame Rachel Kahn / hommage amical de / Alfred Jarry.
Substantial author's annotations include Jarry's removal of the words "ou le Polonais" from the title of Ubu roi; the insertion of a brief performance history of Ubu roi, provided here in manuscript on the verso of the dedication page; directions to rearrange the front matter of both plays; and miscellaneous corrections throughout. Also present in several other hands are typographic corrections to punctuation and formatting.
