The 126-stanza version, with the correct reading "Il mentoit comme leuangille" in stanza 122--Cf. Piaget & Picot, eds., Oeuvres poétiques de Guillaume Alexis, I, 246.
The author's name is rendered as an acrostic on in the last stanza.
Second state of smaller printer's device (7.5 x 5.6 cm): "pierre mareschal bernabe chaussart." Baudrier dates the printer's device to after 1503, but BMC VIII 316 to1499. See also Polain, Marques des imprimeurs et libraires, 58.
