Hugh M. Griffith appears at the 88 Water Street address in New York directories for the years 1801 and 1802 only.
Another issue (Shaw & Shoemaker 3023) has the correct spelling of Rowson on title pages of both volumes. Both volumes of that issue give the imprint as found on the title page to v. 2 of the present issue.
