Summary
Print shows a young girl representing the new year (i.e. 1863) addressed by an older woman represent the departing year (1862) who gestures towards two figures representing the Confederacy and the Union who are fighting in the background beneath a sign post reading "Nord" and Sud"; behind them at right stands Father Time, with wings and scythe.
