Inscriptions/Markings
Author's inscription on half title page: "A Léon Cladel / au plus jeune des maîtres...tardif...et tres humble hommage de la plus profonde admiration [signed] Jehan Lorrain...novembre [18]82." Lorrain has made several hand-corrections throughout the text. A small pencil inscription in another hand is visible on the verso of the Epilogue: G. Garrison.
