Album comprising four leaves of printed vignettes of the seasons, 40 folded engraved plates of flowers numbered 1-80 (plates 54, Hyacinthe and 59, Mille Pertuis lacking), and 80 corresponding slips of poems matching title and virtue of the flowers (poem for no. 17, Lis, lacking).
The flower plates are engraved in green and brown with some handcoloring. All flowers are printed within frames and with the number and name of the flower in green.
The plates and poems are stitched into the binding in no particular order.
Binding:
1/2 bound black morocco and orange paper sides.
