Summary
Print shows a lively street scene with four officers of the law fighting to control an unruly crowd of costumed revelers; in the foreground of the composition, a policeman lies on his back with a mob cap clutched in one hand, evidently struck down by a large man who stands at center, dressed as a woman; another officer, at left, lays his hand on the man's shoulder, as a woman attacks another officer at far right and a fourth officer stands at far left, surveying the mob.
