Library's copy apparently a variant (possibly a later issue of unsold copies?). It has been hand-numbered ex. n. "12 [/] 53" inside an ouroboros design stamped under the justification statement; the portfolio has been hand-painted and ostensibly signed by the artist. The leaf captioned 'La mort et la fou' not present in this copy.

Loose leaves in pictorial wrapper made of the same paper as the prints; laid in black paper-covered portfolio, hand-painted in teal with the author's name and design on the cover and on the paste-downs; ties wanting.
