"Bound in green cloth; repeats illus. on p. 307 on the front cvr. NB: It would appear that this des. might have been adopted for the 'People's Ed.' (SB3). According to WM and WMG-217, some copies of the first ed. 'were bound (probably for presentation) in green cloth with the illustration on p. 307 repeated in colour on the front cover. These copies omit the three pages of advertisements at the end of the book.' WMGC drops this information for some unknown reason (perhaps because of the suspicious nature of the copies?)"--Cf.
