Summary
Drawing shows a jester seated at the base of two trees with his knees drawn up and his chin in his hands, flanked by the sleeping figures of a young woman in a gown and cape who leans against his shoulder at left, and a young woman dressed as a man in tunic and hose, holding a spear, who lies with her head upon his shoulder at right; a woman's hat and jester's bauble lie upon the ground in the foreground at left.
