Summary
Notifying him that he has sent "the 16th. of D[on] J[uan]" to Douglas Kinnaird, but that unless a proof is sent to him immediately he will have already sailed "as I expect to embark about the beginning of July.--In that case--you must print as carefully as you can from the MS"; expressing his opinion that Hunt's 15% interest (in the publication of Don Juan) is too low "15 per Cent (and 30 too) can hardly be a fair proportion for your risk and trouble", and promising to deliver a message to his brother; letter concludes with a postscript referring to Hunt's prosecution by the Constitutional Association for the publication of Byron's Vision of judgment: "I doubt any thing like fair play from a Jury so constituted as "the Gang's" but you will at least expose them."
