Summary
Dispatching the bearer, Mr. [Arthur] Trevor, to give an account of the losses suffered at the battle of Montgomery Castle owing to the "cowardice of Ellice his regiment"; urging His Majesty to send reinforcements in the form of arms and ammunitions lest the Royalist forces lose all advantage in the localities concerned, and concluding with a list of imprisoned Royalist officers awaiting exchange.
