Summary
At left, an etcher works a copper plate resting on a pulpit and covered with varnish. At right, an engraver holds a copper plate in his hands, working it with a burin. In the background, three potential customers examine printed sheets and paintings hanging on the wall. The print La Fortune de la France, engraved by Bosse, is displayed on the wall at left.
