Provenance
Ownership inscription of Edward Bligh, later Earl of Darnley and Lord Clifton, with the date 27 July 1812 and a note stating that it was a gift from John Keate, headmaster of Eton College. Laid in at the end is a broadside listing Clifton among those who had taken a first class Lit. Hum. degree at Oxford University in 1816.
