Song celebrating a planned monument to be erected in honor of Daniel O'Connell in Dublin; dated from internal evidence - the foundation stone of the monument was laid on the 8th August 1864 to great fanfare. The monument was not unveiled until August 1882 and finally completed in May 1883.
Text printed in two columns, with a wood engraved portrait of Daniel O'Connell at head of sheet.
