Two decks of playing cards in original subdivided box with color pictorial lid, illustrated card backs and box lid based on Lewis Carroll's Alice's adventures in Wonderland.
The backs of the cards on one deck shows the Queen of Hears and Cheshire Cat; the backs on the other deck shows Alice and the King of Hearts. The edges of all cards are silver.
Each deck is still wrapped in original cellophane and bears a playing card federal tax stamp printed "Playing cards 10 cents U.S. Int. Rev."; as well, each stamp bears the red ink imprint of "E.E.F. Corp."
"Lithographed in U.S.A. by E.E. Fairchild Corp., Rochester, N.Y."--Inside lip of box lid.
Library's boxed set is housed in a red cloth folder in a red cloth and 1/4 morocco slipcase.
