Binding
16th-century blind-stamped pigskin over partially bevelled wooden boards (29 x 20 cm), sewn on 4 supports. Central panel on top board depicts the Crucifixion with the inscription: "Ecce agnus dei qui tollit peccata mund.," signed HK; central panel on bottom board is Resurrection with the inscription: "Mors ero mors tua o mor. Morsus ero tuus infern.," signed HK; three rolls include a foliate roll, a Christ-Paul-Moses-John the Baptist roll (EBDB r000311), and a Virtue roll. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves (modern); plain endbands. 2 brass clasps.
