Summary
"Amongst the plates in the collection are the following: A portrait of Sir Edward, Coke, Chief Justice of England, 1613-1616 ; Bust of Thomas Coke, who was created Earl of Leicester under the Walpole administration and by whom the house at Holkham was built, and the noble treasures in learning and art there assembled were collected ; a variety of engravings copied from illuminations in various manuscripts of the Gospels, Breviaries, & c, preserved at Holkham, &c."--Dobell, 1891.
