Impression from the unfinished block originally cut by or after Bewick in 1828 and subsequently set aside following his death until the summer of 1832 when Bewick's daughter Jane and son Robert Bewick arranged with London printer Vizetelly, Branston & Co. to strike off ca. 250 impressions for publication.
