Broadside advertising various entertainments to be performed by the Middleton company at the Sun Inn in the village of Fisherton Anger, Salisbury, Wiltshire. The Middleton's were a prominent family of nineteenth century puppeteers well known in England for their marionette performances.
Illustrated with a wood engraving of a group of three performing skeletons.
Broadside folded and inlaid into two leaves inserted after p. 328 into v. 2 of an extra-illustrated copy of Henry Morley's Memoirs of Batholomew Fair (London : Chapman and Hall, 1859), see PML 146639.
