The Visitors from Oz, published by Reilly and Lee in 1960, and rewritten and illustrated by Dick Martin, includes about half of the stories from L. Frank Baum's "Queer Visitors from the Marvelous Land of Oz", which appeared as a newspaper comic strip in the North American, the Chicago Record-Herald, and other newspapers from August 1904 to February 1905.
