Twenty privately printed hymns, poems, and stories with Christmas and New Years greetings from George and Lena Arents (until her death in 1954) for their circle of friends. In limited editions of around 400. Many of the publications include a facsimile reproduction of the holograph texts. The dates cover 1941 to 1960, four of the publications are lacking dates.
The Arents family and Julia Wightman were probably friends because both came from tobacco families. George Arents worked with the American Tobacco Company; his collection of tobacco related materials is at the New York Public Library. Julia Wightman's mother was Purl Parker, whose aunt was married to Caleb Conley Dula, the president of Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company.
