An artist's book, with a Richard Prince photograph (196 x 129 mm) mounted to the back panel of the dust jacket for Catcher in the Rye: a novel by Richard Prince--an earlier work that appropriates the title and the text of the Salinger novel.
The photograph shows a woman (identified in other work on the artist's website as Alice) holding the artist's Catcher in the Rye edition from 2011, with Prince's Bettie Kline (2009) visible on the shelf beside her.
Title supplied by artist, and inscribed in black ink on front free endpaper.
