Summary
Sending presents to Lloyd Frankenberg and his wife, Loren MacIver, including an unnamed book which has "a nice compliment - for both of you - on page 292 (I think)," possibly referring to Bishop's contribution to Richard Howard's anthology "Preferences." Bishop commisserates about illnesses and a recent injury [on ice?] which may be related to her need to type with two left fingers. She mentions John Wayne's January [1974] appearance at the Harvard Lampoon dinner, where he stepped on a student's toe according to Alice [Methfessel], and the fact that her real estate company is signing off.
