Lawrence's Sons and lovers; including 5 printer's proofs of the dustjacket itself, with letterpress, numbered 1 through 5 in Rutherston's hand, along with a copy of the jacket in its final published state; and 7 blockmaker's proofs, including single and combined color impressions from the two different blocks used to print Rutherston's design, with the individual prints variously inscribed with notes and instructions by the artist.
