Summary
Print shows 13 scenes illustrating the persecution, exploitation and torture of the Protestants in France, with a central panel showing the French Huguenots being welcomed by William of Orange and his wife Mary and other Dutch statesmen; this image surrounded by twelve smaller scenes, the last scene showing the alleged mistreatment of the Dutch consul in Nantes, Jacob de Bye in 1685.
