Summary
Print shows a church interior, with two clergymen standing before the altar, one holding an open book, the other a collection plate; three men stand before the them, with the one at far left addressing the congregation, saying "I command all ye congregation to disperse", while another attempts to seize the collection plate from the clergyman at right, who responds, "This is my place, not yours; the Money is offered up to God, touch it at your peril". A fourth man witnesses the scene from a doorway at far right, exclaiming, "It is the Lords doing and it is marvellous in our eyes".
