Broadside issued as a folding plate for inclusion in Sylvester's translation of Du Bartas's Divine weeks and works; this copy probably removed from a copy of the 1633 or 1641 edition, both published in London by Robert Young, with the middle column line 1 reading "co-eternall".
Printed in three columns, headed The Father, The Sonne, and The Holy-Ghost, divided by illustrations within illustrated arched border.
Within top of arched border triangular device symbolizing the Trinity and 12 empty thrones; images of human figures and Biblical scenes in borders.
In lower right corner poem headed: To the Right Reverend, Learned and Religious, the L. Bishop; Deane and Chapter, Church and Colledge sacred to the Holy Trinitie, in Gloucester; and to the Right Worshipfull the Mayor, & Senate there.
Includes Latin poem in six lines, beginning: Caeruleo conspersa solo, rosa, lilia, cruces and signed: G.L.
At bottom center: Humbly Devoted, Josuah Sylvester.
