Mounted as item 72 into an album of collected prints, broadsides, drawings, and miscellaneous single sheet items, assembled by former owner Joseph Ames and entitled "Emblematical and satirical prints on persons and professions" (PML 145850).
Print shows a group of sick and crippled worshippers gathered in prayer around an effigy of the Virgin affixed to a tree; in the background is an elaborate landscape with a church and townscape, with a religious procession shown at left. At far right, a female victim of demonic possession falls back into the arms of two men as a small devil escapes from her mouth. A cartouche below the feet of the statue reads: Ego diligentes me diligo.
