Engraved illustration created for the Duke of Buckingham's "An account of a conference, between His Grace George, Duke of Buckingham, and Father Fitzgerald an Irish priest", first published in 1705; this plate possibly removed from a copy of the 1715 illustrated edition of the Duke of Buckingham's collected works, published in London by Samuel Briscoe.
Mounted as item 67 into an album of collected prints, broadsides, drawings, and miscellaneous single sheet items, assembled by former owner Joseph Ames and entitled "Emblematical and satirical prints on persons and professions" (PML 145850).
