Summary
Satirical print on the Popish Plot in 10 panels of varying sizes, commencing with a panel at upper left showwing the seated figure of the Pope vomiting and voiding sheets of paper (one of which is labeled "To kill the King") as the Devil holds his cloak above his bare buttocks and a group of three clergymen stand around him, with caption reading, "The Pope surfeted with plotts"; followed by panels with captions reading: 2. "Ruffians and Popish agents tampering with ye Boyes"; 3. "The Boyes at Consult"; 4. "The Colours painted with Rumps"; 5. "The Boyes Listing"; 6. "Capt. Tom lead to ye Councell"; 7. "Capt. Tom comitted to Newgate"; "The Asasanating of Justice Arnold"; "The Devill att Breakfast" (the concluding panel showing a procession of Jesuits in birettas issuing from a church door into the clutches of the Devil, who devours them at one end while excreting them at the other in the form of soldiers; with a banner above reading, "Strange Transformations Demon maketh when, Hee turneth Jesuits into armed men").
