Bound in as item 1 in an album of collected prints, broadsides, drawings, and miscellaneous single sheet items, assembled by former owner Joseph Ames and entitled "Emblematical and satirical prints on persons and professions" (PML 145850).
Library's copy has the genitalia of the two reclining figures defaced with brown ink; large calligraphic inscription with name of former owner "J. Ames" written in red ink on the plinth at the base of the design; print trimmed to image.
Print shows Michelangelo's tomb of Lorenzo de' Medici, with reclining statues of Night and Day.
