Summary
Print shows the wedding of Rebecca and Isaac as a panoramic scene crowded with figures; as part of a cavalcade, Rebecca sits side-saddle on a mule in her wedding garb, while a group of guests sit in a amphitheatre and watch a group of dancers who join hands to form a ring. Evidently a reduced copy of a larger engraving, comprising four plates, previously executed by Gijsbert van Veen after Peruzzi and dated 1585.
