Published suite of 7 numbered lithographs; nos. 1-3 and 5-6 by Gavarni, and nos. 4 and 7 evidently executed by an unidentified hand after drawings by Gavarni. Cf. Armelhault & Bocher.
The 5 plates by Gavarni are later states of lithographs originally published by Rittner et Goupil and Charles Tilt, having appeared individually in the journal Le Charivari from Dec. 1839 to Feb. 1840.
