Illustrated with 12 mezzotints by Lupton after Turner; the 12 plates were originally executed 1826-1828 for the published series "Ports of England", with the publication of the mezzotints being abandoned after the appearance of the first 6 plates; the steel plates and unsold impressions were afterwords bought by Messrs.
