Bound album containing a collection of 62 engravings and preliminary etchings by George Cooke, H. Le Keux, R. Wallis, W.R. Smith, J.C. Allen, E. Goodall, and W. Miller after J.M.W. Turner, representing various states of the 12 engravings published as engraved t.p.'s and illustrations in "Provincial antiquities and picturesque scenery of Scotland", and presented here without the accompanying text by Sir Walter Scott. Included are 14 of the prints in their preliminary etched state, 24 engraver's proofs in finished and unfinished or unlettered states, and 24 engravings in their first published state.
